Aerosystems Achieves ISO 14001 Certification: Sustainability and Industry Aligned for the Future

On May 16, 2025, Aerosystems proudly achieved ISO 14001 certification for the first time: an internationally recognized standard that sets the framework for an effective environmental management system. This achievement is not simply a formal recognition, but the outcome of a strategic, organization-wide journey involving every level of the company: from top management to production, from engineering to logistics.

Rather than creating a parallel system, Aerosystems integrated the ISO 14001 requirements into its existing management framework, already certified to EN 9100 and ISO 9001. This integration avoided duplication and created a lean, cohesive system where environmental sustainability is embedded in daily operations.

A valuable asset in this process was the use of the EcoVadis platform, which allowed the company to assess and monitor its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance with transparency. The insights gained from EcoVadis supported both compliance and continuous improvement, helping Aerosystems set measurable objectives based on real data.

Certification is Just the Beginning

For Aerosystems, ISO 14001 certification is not the finish line. It marks the beginning of a deeper transformation. Environmental management is now embedded in the company’s strategic vision, on par with quality, safety, and innovation.

Each audit, each improvement action, and each objective reached is part of a broader journey toward a more efficient, responsible, and future-ready way of doing business.
